Android:Moving application from phone memory to memory card without rooting[Works genuine content 100%]-2014

Hello,
          So your internal memory is full and you want to move your apps from phone memory to your SD card. The only problem is that some apps are by default in phone memory and are not allowed to move to memory card like "Whatsapp". 
What most method suggest is to root your phone and install APP2SD app. <Do not use this method, not only does it void your warranty, it also doesn't work like you desire. (It will only move data to memory card but the processes and cache will still be in phone memory which is risky.)

I am going show you another method on how to move your applications from phone memory to memory card without even rooting your phone.(For Android users)

Follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Download Java JDK (<click here) if you don't have it already installed on your PC/Laptop

 Step 2:
Download Android SDK tool from the link given below:

•  Download here for 32 bit computer (No viruses-100% trusted) > http://www.filefactory.com/file/3t1vhhkejh7l/adk.zip

 Step 3: After you have downloaded the file from the link above, rename it to adk, if its not already named adk (i choose adk because its simple, you can choose whatever name you feel like).
Extract the file using winrar,winzip or any other software you use.
Now move that folder to C:/ drive itself. So, when you open C:/ drive you can see that folder and not put it in any other folder. Meaning you will place your adk(folder) directly in C:/ drive and not sub folders. (It will be easier to navigate later). Like this>

Now Open SDK manager Install all the tools
Note: Some tools might not install depending on your operating system just skip it and move forward

 

Step 4: After step 3, plug in your android device into your PC or laptop and enable USB debugging on your device. Inshort you should see your memory card on your PC, Like this>

 Step 5: Open command prompt. Go to Start menu type "cmd" Press enter Or Go to Start menu type Run. Press enter within the dialogue box type "cmd" Press enter. It should look like this>

 Now in order to go to the C:/ directory type the following in it:
cd\

You will be taken to your main drive. Here is the image

 

Step 5:
          Navigate to platform tools directory(folder) inside the adk folder. If you followed the above steps to the letter it will be in C:/adk/sdk/platform-tools. See the image below

If you cannot find the folder there you’ll find this folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools or Check C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools if you’re using a 32-bit version of Windows.  

Step 6: Go to command prompt and type the following:

cd adk/sdk/platform-tools  (It will depend where your platform-tools folder is.In my case it's in C:/adk/sdk/platform-tools so I type: cd adk/sdk/platform-tools, if your platform-tools folder is in C:/Program Files (x86)/Android/adk/sdk/platform-tools, you will type: cd Program Files(x86)/A
ndroid/adk/sdk/platform-tools and it will get you into that directory.)[Letters are case sensitive]

Now we are in the directory 

Last step:
Once you are inside the platform tools folder/directory type the following ( Remember letters are case-sensitive. USE CAPSLOCK WHERE NECESSARY)>

Type “adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2″ and press enter.[If  <Android 4.0] (Image above).
Type "adb sheell pm set-install-location 2" and press enter.[If >=Android 4.0]


That's it :). Unplug your device from USB now and go to Settings>Manage applications.
You will see that now you can move apps like whatsapp to your memory card.

Please note: Not all apps should be moved to memory card. 
Suggestion: Apps like google maps,play store, widgets should remain on phone memory, it's by default. 
But other apps like whatsapp, We chat, etc. you can move using this method.
